WHO WE ARE
We are a family run company that we started so that we could go on living our lives in Loppa.
We are primarily a fishing camp located in an area of Norway's best fishing grounds. The sea around loppahavfiske and our village Nuvsvåg is called Lopphavet is known for fantastic fishing through generations.
Nusvåg used to be a thriving fishing village. The people living mostly of farming and fishing. In the 70 ties were about 400 inhabitants: Nuvsvåg had a fish factory and 2 shops petrol station, the school had 70 pupils and there were about 50 fishing boats
In 1985 we got a car ferry connection – this made life a little easier – one could get to the mainland easier than before.
Today Nuvsvåg has about 70 permanent inhabitants.
